Bear Flats Forest Recreation Area Adventures

Bear Flats Forest Recreation Area is located within the Mazatzal National Forest in central Arizona, renowned for its dense stands of ponderosa pine and mixed conifer forests. The area sits at an elevation of approximately 6,000 to 7,000 feet, providing cooler temperatures compared to the surrounding low deserts, making it an ideal summer retreat.
